Quincy Varnado
Military law attorney, Killeen
I put on a uniform before I put on a suit, and the work I do now is the work I watched from the other side of the table.
I served as an Army judge advocate before I opened this office. I prosecuted and defended, advised commanders, and sat in more briefings about "the paperwork" than I can count. What I learned is that a young soldier with a notice in hand almost never knows how much time he has, and almost never asks.
So this is a small office built around that first call. I take three kinds of case, the ones I know best. I answer my own phone, I put the fee in writing, and I work next to the military lawyer you already have.
When I'm not at the office I'm usually at a high school ballfield in Bell County, or arguing with my brother about barbecue.

The office
Come in, call or text, whichever is easier
The office is on Rancier Avenue. Come in with the paper or send a photo of it, and we'll go through it at the table.
A lot of my clients don't have time to drive across town, so most of the first conversation happens by phone, text or video. When you do come in, there is coffee, parking behind the building, and nobody wearing a name tag but me.
Parking behind the building
Wheelchair-accessible entrance
Video visits for anyone stationed away
