The first week
From the paper to a plan
Here is what happens from the moment you send me what you were handed.
- 01
Step 1: You send the paper
Use the form, call or text. The kind of paper and its deadline are enough; leave out what happened until we talk.
- 02
Step 2: I call or text back
The same day. I tell you what the paper is, how long you have, and what your options are. No charge for this call.
- 03
Step 3: You get a fee in writing
If you want me, I send a fee agreement that says what is covered, what is not and what it costs. Nothing starts until we both sign.
- 04
Step 4: I work with your military lawyer
I call the lawyer you were assigned, share what I find and split the work so you are not paying for two of us to do the same thing.
- 05
Step 5: We prepare, then we answer
You get a plan before the deadline, with drafts to read and decisions left to you. I tell you what I think, and you choose.
Two lawyers, one case
If you already have a military lawyer
A detailed defense lawyer is assigned to you at no cost, and that lawyer knows the system from the inside. Keep them.
I don't ask you to choose. I read what they've got, offer a second view and take on the parts that need extra hands: the rebuttal letter, the witness statements, the board binder. If we disagree about something, I'll tell you and you decide.
You keep your assigned lawyer
I contact them only with your permission
One plan, not two
You always get the last word
